Feeling at Home

Sure, multitasking, app-switching, widgets, better notifications and all the sweet openess of android are arguments that speak Android Devices. But what i really can’t explain is why i feel much more at home with android devices. since i unboxed my galaxy S2 this spring i haven’t touched my iphone. Since i first owned a galaxy tab (12 months ago it was the original galaxy tab, nowadays it’s the 10.1) i haven’t even looked at my iPad. Can’t explain.

My father partially co-owned a garage that sold american cars in switzerland, he however, always preferred subarus. Must be in the genes.

Tasker – change everything automagically

Well, almost everything: Tasker allows you to change most of the settings, start applications and such either based on time, location (cell ID or gps) or on events, such as sms, emails calls etc. sounds simple – works great!

e.g: the first thing i see in the morning is the daily new dilbert strip – hot off the press and automagically downloaded and opened on my screen. beats seeing my wife sleeping by ages!

tasker is still beta – and thus free. get it in the forums tasker.dinglisch.net
